The Local Biodiversity Action Plan

The Local Biodiversity Action Plan (LBAP) for Tower Hamlets sets priorities and targets for conservation of species and habitats across the borough, and provides details of what actions we will undertake to achieve these targets. Organisations signed up to these actions include Council departments, Tower Hamlets Homes and other housing associations, charities such as Thames21 and community groups such as the Friends of Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park. The Mayor and cabinet approved the latest Local Biodiversity Action Plan on 31 July 2019, to run from 1 October 2019 until September 2024.
